Life is not the same

Life may not be exactly what it use to be for this big guy...but he is still the most lovable 80 pounds anyone could ask for.

We are so proud of Nate for doing so well with baby IV, life and taking a backseat to his little brother.

Morning with JaJu

My Dad stopped by this morning with coffee and to spend time with IV. There really isn't much else to say. The picture speaks for itself. {love}

I'm loving our Elf - "Clark" (named after Clark W. Griswold)  Although IV does not "get it" yet...Stew and I are having more fun every night finding a new spot for him.

Here he is hanging out of IV's favorite berry tree.

I'm in my glory this Holiday season, especially because I'm home all day - and have the tree lit, soups cooking - but have yet to put the fireplace on. I'm really enjoying it - it just needs to snow now.

We are taking a mini vacation to the mountains soon. I'm beyond excited to pack up the car like a bunch of amateurs - I'll be sure to take a picture because it's guaranteed to be ridiculously full of unnecessary baby stuff. But I'm excited to get away!

Tears - For Mama

Yesterday - after much discussion, I took IV to get his hair cut. He was in his glory with all the attention he got. He laughed, clapped his hands, and was even very serious at one point...

I was snapping pictures with my phone and whipping the tears from my eyes.

He looks like such a big boy!

Tis the Season

Our first weekend in December was jammed packed with Holiday Cheer! We cut down our tree, decorated the house and I even wrapped most of our gifts.

A box

The UPS man delivered a box of some of the Christmas presents that I purchased online for IV. I almost gave him one of his gifts, but decided against it and gave him the box instead.
